Moka Bros Nali Patio

UBICACIÓN: Pekín, China
AÑO: 2013
ÁREA: 164 sqm

This Healthy Fast Casual restaurant was the first concept I developed from start to finish in China, alongside the Mosto group team. From the beginning, the concept aimed to create a scalable space that offers an exceptional guest experience. Our goal was to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed, as if they were anywhere in the world, while enjoying a healthy, balanced meal in a great ambiance with good music.

Guided by the motto EAT WELL, FEEL GOOD, the design emphasized scalability and sustainability. Locally sourced materials such as white tiles in varying sizes and patterns, galvanized steel, light oak wood panels, and concrete finishes were used to achieve a cohesive and adaptable aesthetic. Custom furniture and light fixtures—excluding the dining chairs—further enhanced the overall design.I selected sustainable local materials that are easy to replicate, such as white tiles in various sizes and patterns, galvanized steel, light oak wood panels, and concrete finishes. I designed all the furniture and light fixtures, except for the dining chairs.

Operationally, I handled the design of  the kitchen layout and optimized the flow between the front and back-of-house, working closely with the Moka team to ensure functionality matched the guest-focused vision. This project perfectly balances guest experience, sustainability, and operational efficiency, setting a benchmark for fast-casual dining design in the Beijing fast casual scene at that time.
