The inspiration for this Peruvian restaurant started with a chicha poster brought by one of the owners of the restaurant.
Chicha posters are one of the best known manifestations of Peruvian folk art. Originally used to advertise musical events, it has been revived by a new generation of artists and activists. Its bold fluorescent color palette pays homage to the Andean culture that gives the streets of Lima their identity.
This single element gave life to the whole restaurant concept design. The rest of the materials were kept more neutral, to be used simply as a background to display such a colorful art.
